Motivation

What makes a person average is their focus! - Eric Thomas

The road to success is not an evenly paved road. It will require dedication, sweat and sometimes even tears. When anyone decides they want to lose weight they experience an initial high because their motivation is extremely great in the beginning. As their journey continues, their confidence and motivation start to dwindle because they expect instant results. Others are discouraged by the lack of support from family and friends and for some it can be the soreness they feel post workout.

If losing weight was easy, then everyone would be doing it. In one of my earlier blog posts I stated that the first thing someone should do is figure out their "why". This is the most important factor in any results driven goal. It will help you stay focused when the results aren't showing at the pace you want.

There will be set-backs and even failures as you start to get closer to your goal. The smaller you become the harder it will be to continue to shed those pounds. Some people will even experience plateaus on more than one occasion. During this time, if you remember why you started and look at how far you have come it can re-fuel your initial desire. You have greatness within you. You are cable of achieving anything you set your mind to. Stop quitting and starting over again. Finish what you started so you can become who you have always wanted to be. Being fit isn't only about looking good in summer clothes or when your naked. It gives you the confidence you need to tackle your daily tasks, not to mention the great sense of accomplishment you will feel. You don't have control over people who may criticise you along the way but this will only make you stronger. Working out and eating healthy allows you to achieve optimal health and will decrease your stress levels. You will actually become more independent and have a greater zest for life!.

The road to success is covered in sweat!!!
